Raelene Sharp has been a professional portrait artist for many years
painting corporate, private and celebrity portraits for clients around the
country. She lists National Portrait Gallery, Parliament of Victoria,
Scotch College, Melbourne University, Melbourne University College,
Royal Children’s Hospital, Methodists' Ladies College, St Catherine’s
Toorak, and Caulfield Grammar among her clients.
Raelene has won the third richest portrait prize in the Australia - The
Shirley Hannan National Portrait Prize.
Her paintings of Professor Suzanne Cory AC and Eva and Marc Besen AC
are hanging in the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra. She is an Archibald Prize Finalist
and Archibald Packing Room prize Winner. Her painting of Justice Betty
King is hanging in the Peter O’Callaghan QC Gallery Victoria Bar. She
has been included in the Salon International USA twice the Archibald
Salon des Refuse, the Portia Geach and received a First Merit in the
Portrait Society of America’s annual Exhibition. Raelene is a Victorian
Artists’ Society and Australian Guild of Realists Artists’ Fellow. Her
paintings are in public and private collections in Australia and overseas.
She has been finalist in most of the national portrait competitions and
also features in several publications.

art shows including Camberwell Art Show three times
