ARTIST NOTES: The Wadi Rum panorama is set in Jordan and the relevant photos were taken while touring there. The original images were in colour. This mountain landscape is indeed spectacular and occasionally I was told would have snow upon it. The reference to Mars reflects as a tour party we thought it looked like an alien world and practically every sci-fi film since 2007 has used this location to shoot scenes there. At sunset the colours are very rich in their reds and oranges.
